API Indonesia is not affiliated with GLEIF and this service is not endorsed by GLEIF. What API Indonesia changed: the data is filtered to entities with an Indonesian legal or headquarters address plus their direct/ultimate parents and their foreign subsidiaries, then normalised to JSON. Every successful response carries meta.attribution with the source, the licence and file_date (the publish time of the golden copy used). Parent reporting exceptions and ELF code names are not included in this version.

https://use.apiindonesia.id/api/v1/leiSearches the 1,644 entities with an Indonesian legal or headquarters address (golden copy snapshot of 1 November 2026). q matches the legal name and other/transliterated names through a full-text index (word prefixes). The provinsi filter applies to both the legal and headquarters address; some GLEIF records still use retired island codes (for example ID-JW for Java) and those are not rolled up into provinces.

Yes. The 20-character shape and the ISO 17442 (MOD 97-10) checksum are checked first; a malformed LEI answers 400 INVALID_LEI.
